I had passed this pub on a couple of occasions at lunch time and the car park was full both times. Worth a visit, I thought. It's an attractive building and the inside has beams for the "oldie worldie" effect. Nice and cosy.

I ordered a pint of the "house brew", which tasted like an expensive version of Greene King IPA (which I like).  The place was almost full; a good sign.

Another young lady escorted me to a table for two (there was only me) and gave me a menu. There were also chalk boards showing "specials" so there really was a wide variety of ch

I took a fancy to the tapas and ordered three dishes. These were very much to my liking, being highly flavoured and was followed by a creme brulee dessert which was extremely creamy. An excellent meal, even if a tad expensive, but if you cannot spoil yourself once in a while, then.......
