Details: A charming exterior in the heart of Debenham village. This is a traditional pub, dating from 1465, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Street parking is available nearby. The pub has a classic interior with exposed beams and a cosy fireplace, perfect for a winter's day. The variety of seating options is a delight, from intimate corners to larger tables for groups. There is also an outside courtyard.

This is a local favourite hidden away in rural Suffolk. You will quickly realise why once you walk through the entrance door.

My liquid refreshment consisted of a pint of Lacons Legacy. I thought the Lacons Great Yarmouth brewery had long ceased to exist, but someone is brewing under that name. There are plenty of other options.

The pub also hosts regular events and live music.
